Who will benefit from clinical education?
Educational intervention methods will be most beneficial for patients with chronic conditions that require extensive behavioral changes for which consequences of such changes are not immediately gratifying.
The graph on the left shows that patients with conditions such as CHF, Diabetes, Obesity, Addiction, and Asthma will benefit highly from additional tablet education.
Tablet education increases the patient's knowledge of their disease thereby increasing their perception of control over the condition. Informative information and problem-solving skills will increase adherence to medical instructions and allow patients to assume a proactive role in their own treatment.
